Satellite Beach sits on the barrier island between Cocoa Beach and Indian Harbour Beach, with the Atlantic on one side and the Banana River on the other. It reads more residential than tourist: city parks, a tighter street grid, and buyers who want beach access without living on the Cocoa Beach commercial strip. Samsons Island and the lagoon side give the town a quieter water story than A1A alone suggests.
